HOBY Rhode Island’s Mission

HOBY Rhode Island exists to address a critical gap in youth leadership development by providing high school students with the tools, confidence, and inspiration to become change-makers in their communities. Too often, young people with leadership potential lack access to meaningful opportunities that help them grow, connect, and act on their ideas. Our program empowers students to recognize their own leadership strengths, build empathy through collaboration, and understand the power they have to create positive change—both locally and globally. By investing in these young leaders early, we aim to build a stronger, more engaged, and more compassionate Rhode Island for the future.
